Employee Relations and Compliance

Employment Law has become more of a playground than ever. You can never stop a claim. You can ensure that you have a defensible position.

OVERVIEW

Employment law has evolved and so too has the cost, complexity and risk to your business. It's not all doom and gloom though.

It’s useful to begin with the understanding that employment law is a relatively new area of law and, as such, it develops quickly. It will continue to do so for some time. The reason for this is simple - people. Unlike many areas of law, employment law is all about people and people make employment law dynamic.

A few years ago the government introduced a system of charging into Employment Tribunals, in an attempt to prevent opportunistic claims being made. In 2017 charging was overturned to prevent people from being denied access to justice.

From a legal, compliance, employee relations and dispute resolution point of view we have spent years fine tuning and developing our service. A service that applies up to the minute understanding of current employment law, to deliver effective solutions that produce outstanding results.

For more than 20 years we have successfully delivered and, whilst our clients rarely face an employment tribunal claim, we have a 100% success rate for those that have (we've never lost!) We pride ourselves on giving businesses straight answers and practical solutions whatever situation they face.

Our success doesn’t mean that you will always hear what you want to hear! Sometimes we cannot pull a rabbit out of a hat for you. What you will hear will be accurate and informed and if we can’t quite meet your expectations we’ll do our best to deliver solutions as close to your wishes as possible.

It’s also important to remember that Cream HR operates exclusively with businesses and organisations – we do not advise individuals or claimants.
